A Night in Sydney - Circular Quay
Sydney has some pretty good views, but none of them are quite like the view of Sydney's Circular Quay sitting on the water and watching ferries, boats and cruise liners sail in and out as the sun sets with a glass of champagne in hand.
First stop on our harbour side evening was the iconic Opera Bar for a seat right on the water right under the famous Sydney Opera House. While drinks and food may have seemed a little expensive at first the view quickly begins to make it all pay off as nothing compares to the view of Sydney's harbour during sunset and places like Opera Bar are the perfect place to do it.
Next stop on our trip around Circular Quay was the lush vista bar Hacienda which once again features a fantastic view of Sydney's harbour; sitting on level three, this bar rises above the rest and with it's Cuban inspired aesthetic Hacienda feels like a true escape from Sydney's city. The cocktails were try unique and fantastic - inspired by fresh Cuban fruits and complimented by rum and American whiskey, Hacienda has struck gold with their bar and is truly must see when visiting Sydney.
A quick dip into a creperie never hurt anyone and Four Frogs Creperie is not exception. Offering a large selection of crepes is a fantastic addition to Sydney's harbour; and while it may not host the same views as our other locations it's delicious and relatively cheap dessert or dinner menu is a major selling point for Sydney harbour's food scene.
The last stop and perhaps one of the more underrated stops on our night was The Squires Landing - Sydney's James Squire brew house which has arguably the best view of Sydney's harbour with a view of both the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. While James Squire is primarily known for beers this brew house proves they can do much more than make a good beer, this brew house is aesthetically pleasing from head to toe. The Squires Landing truly reflects the love and care that goes into the craft beer as ever aspect of this bar is treated with the utmost respect with their food and drink being truly top tier and was a great way to end the night.
