A Night in Sydney - Crows Nest

Sydney has many great places to spend your night - this weekend I spent a night in Crows Nest and discovered a cosy little nook on Sydney's North Shore.

Starting the night at Small Bar we sat down to shared plates of soft tacos and grilled halloumi paired perfectly with a friendly and warm atmosphere. With fairy lights and vines overhead, it truly felt as if we were sitting in a courtyard a million miles away from the rest of the world.

Continuing on with the evening, we left our courtyard dinner behind and entered The Hayberry - a rock n roll bar with character in every brick. Looking around you can see all kinds of paraphernalia as you sit down with your choice of their selection of craft beers, ciders, wines or house cocktails. While rock n roll runs through this bar the staff are accommodating in every way and are more than happy to chat to you about this funny little bar and all it has to offer.

Our next move was towards our cosiest encounter yet. The Foxtrot Inn lies within what used to be someone's home, it's quirky aesthetic of old furniture only adds to it's already homely feel. The Foxtrot Inn offers a rather large selection of cocktails, spirits and wine, this is where The Foxtrot Inn truly shines as their bartenders will always find the right drink for you with little to no information.

The last place on our list was for some the best part of the night. As we sat down in C9 Chocolate and Gelato we were greeted by an array of strange and delicious flavours from nutella to rose ice cream which intrigued our minds and satisfied our taste buds. This was such a great way to end the night and it's safe to say, I'd happily return to Crows Nest again for its diverse and cosy set of restaurants and bars.
