Bondi Beach

Hey Everyone!

After all the nightlife posts, it's only fitting that we share some of the amazing Sydney experiences fit for daytime! Let's start with Bondi Beach. For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, it's time to come out from under that rock and experience one of Sydney's most famous destinations!

Home to the iconic surf club 'Icebergs', Bondi Beach is just 8km from the city centre, with a quick 30-minute bus from Town Hall. With amazing waves from morning to night and the calm swimming pools, it will quickly become one of your favourite summer destinations. But what if you’re not a surfie? Don’t worry there is still plenty to do:
§  Visit the Sculptures by the Sea: a public exhibition held since 1997, found on the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk
§  Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk: about a 2-hour walk, 6km of beautiful views and beaches (and of course a few cafés)
§  The Bondi Farmer’s Market: fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables sold at Bondi Beach Public School every Saturday
§  Dine at Bondi’s Finest: Icebergs dining room and bar and Bondi Road Seafood’s are amongst some of the most popular

Don’t worry, you don’t have to leave this amazing place once the sun goes down and the surfer’s leave the water, the nightlife still sparkles in Bondi. Many bars, nightclubs, and pubs have live music so you can dance into the night. Some of the most famous include (visit the links for more info):

§  The SpeakeasyBar: 83 Curlewis Street
§  Bondi Hardware: 39 Hall Street
§  The Anchor: 8 Campbell Parade

Well, that’s all from me for now! I hope this post inspires you to experience the wonders of Bondi Beach!

Until next time,
Jessica
